Nancy never did anything halfway.
She raised three kids while building a career in nonprofit leadership. She hosted the holidays, baked the pies and made the photo books. When her mother got sick, she took the late-night calls and coordinated the care. When her youngest needed help buying their first home, she helped and supported without hesitation.
When Nancy’s smile started to fade – first with discoloration then the loss of one tooth, then another – she did what many do. She put herself last. A lifetime of prioritizing others had taken a toll, including on her dental health. But by her late 50s, she decided to do something for herself. She had earned it.
