Riverfront Independent Living for Retirees Plum Landing is the place to live for adults 55+.

Enjoy top notch service from our dedicated and friendly staff, newly renovated apartments, and the best food and service around. Located on the banks of the Fox River, Plum Landing residents enjoy great views from every apartment. The building itself is built into the side of a hill, making it almost invisible from Lake St. (Rt. 31), while also making it easily accessible from all directions. We are a nonprofit corporation governed by a local board of directors who are prominent in all areas of local business, many of whom have had family that called Plum Landing home.

🎃 Happy Halloween from all of us to you!
Today’s resident costume parade kicked off the lunch hour with a full-on hootenanny—and creativity was at its finest! From pumpkins to a prom queen, a sneaky robber to a dancing skeleton, plus a sheep herder and a farmer ready to wrangle the fun, it was pure joy to feel like kids again.

Victor can finally kick back now that spooky season has wrapped. Wishing you all happy hauntings and sweet memories! 👻🌾🐑

🧡👻 Our courtyard was bubbling with laughter during lunch hour as we welcomed little ones (and one four-legged friend!) for a Children’s Halloween Costume Parade. Residents and staff lit up with delight as Kathy handed out sugary treats and the kids danced out of their seats. The bubbles, giggles, and shared smiles reminded us how magical it is when generations come together to celebrate.

Even our Plum Puzzlers are feeling the Halloween spirit! They recently completed a spooktacular puzzle featuring none other than Jack Skellington — cousin to our bony buddy Victor 💀. It’s all treats and no tricks when it comes to puzzle time around here!

🍽️ Welcome to Plump Landing — our beloved dining hall where Rico and his crew serve up daily delights that keep us coming back for seconds (and thirds!). The food is so good, it’s earned its nickname fair and square. 💀 Although our friend Victor — hasn’t plumped up just yet, we’re holding out hope. Maybe one more helping of casserole will do the trick!🤞

Flappers and Fedoras took center stage today as our favorite performers, Matt and Cynthia, whisked us away to the roaring 1920s. With toe-tapping tunes, vintage flair, and a sprinkle of humor and history, they brought the era to life in style. From jazzy rhythms to playful storytelling, their performance was a delightful time-travel treat!
