OUR TEXTLINE IS NOW OPERATIONAL. Of course, I had to talk on the PHONE like 59 times today and I felt like a junior high kid gabbing with the other chatty cathies. I hated it. I will talk to my counselor about this.

ANYWHO, I have updated our closed message to the following and as I have learned from having the attention span of a gnat high on being a gnat, I will continue to change our outgoing automations every so often because I enjoy drafting automated messages.

It is my passion.

- We are closed, or cleaning. We begin cleaning our lab 32.5-69.5 minutes prior to close each business day.
- We are not open when we are closed. We are also not permitted to bring drugs home to compound them, so when we are not open, drugs are not being made. Sorry!
- Requesting a refill? Cool! We will confirm the next business day. If you do not receive a confirmation from us, we did not receive thy request. THIS IS IMPORTANT.
- If you are asking if we make Wegovy or Monjourno or something you saw on TV, we don't. And we won't.
- We will reply as soon as we return to our desk.
- Yes, we prefer communication through text / email, as it is the most efficient use of our time. Alas, sometimes messages just don't send, get caught in filters, or we break the internet. So we try our best, just like you do, you trying your bestest tryer, you.

Our Textline account was shut down over the weekend due to a conversation we engaged in regarding the use of CBD for pain relief.

While we are not certain why this topic warranted shutting down our main means of HIPAA compliant communication, we are actively appealing the decision and hope to be able to text again soon.

Yep. Can't get here to get your medication during our business day, but don't want to spend an arm and a leg on shipping? Contact us during business hours to arrange it and we'll make it work!

- 2 - We now accept CareCredit!
A number of our customers are animals recovering from serious illnesses or surgeries, and in tandem with the amazing services offered from local rockstar veterinarians, we now accept CareCredit to make sure the healing process and all compounded medications prescribed can be financed appropriately.

- 3 - We DELIVER!
No, not for everyone, but if you live between the pharmacy in Aurora and Joel's home in Yorkville, delivery is free! If that doesn't encourage you to move closer, we don't know what will!

- 4 - We TEXT!
Yes, we stopped answering the phone a few years ago, but if you need immediate assistance during business hours, drop us a text on our HIPAA compliant textline at 630-381-7413 and we will respond as soon as humanly possible. Why don't we answer the phone? Because we're probably on hold with your doctor's office in the first place!

- 5 - WE CLOSE AT 2:30PM ON FRIDAYS! EVERY FRIDAY!
Just like nothing good happens when you're out after midnight, nothing good happens in a custom pharmacy lab after 2:30pm on a Friday. This vitamin D story is much bigger than we ever imagined. For reference, Vitamin D is made IN the human body when cholesterol in the skin is exposed to sunlight.

There are at least two dastardly programs in place that might be partially responsible for low levels of vitamin D;
1. We have been advised to stay out of the sun because it causes skin cancer.
2. We are strongly encouraged to do everything possible to lower cholesterol levels, including taking powerful drugs every day - for life.

My results are in and they are conclusive. In a search for the BEST shaving method for a bald head, I have examined several different approaches over the past TWO YEARS.

#1 Regardless of the marketing efforts, there isn't an electric razor made that can shave my head as smoothly as a razor and I suspect there never will be.
#2 Water is important (warm is better) and will work alone if I take my time.
#3 After decades of practice and forays into other products, I always return to the Gillette Mach 3.
#4 Something is needed to smooth out the process. There is a large market of foams, gels creams, soaps/brushes, and oils to choose from. They all work but the oils are the best of the bunch.

The easiest and closest head shave needs water, a Mach 3 razor, and good shaving oil.
