Ever wonder what a day in Memory Care looks like? Check out what things look like from our memory care activity coordinator. 🩵

This morning I walked in to a table full of residents and two conversations happening at once—my favorite kind of welcome! Hugs all around, as usual. 💙 I even received two heartfelt compliments about how much I care… and honestly, that’s my kind of payday. They’re so sweet to me.

We started our day reminiscing about school days—sack lunches, bus rides, and field trips to the zoo. 🐵The stories flowed so joyfully that Mary later invited Patricia to go to the zoo with her! Moments like that warm the soul.

Then Father Ruben from St Peter's Catholic Church arrived for Communion. Many of our residents cherish this weekly time of prayer and blessing. Hearing them recite the prayers from memory is truly beautiful—they look forward to it each week. 🙏

This afternoon, 👼Baby Suzy came for a visit. Nothing brings out pure, tender love quite like our baby doll therapy. The snuggles, the soft voices, the memories of raising children—it fills the room with so much sweetness and connection.

After a snack, it was time for our Bowling Bonanza! 🎳 Great turnout, great focus, and yes… plenty of friendly competition—especially with the oldies music playing in the background.

We have a wonderful little family in Memory Care. We laugh, we talk, we hug, we share. We are all so blessed to have each other. 💛
