On January 9th, 2024, we flew back from Costa Rica to Denver, via Atlanta, on Delta Airlines. My husband had a seat next to this young woman with a FULL GROWN GOLDEN RETRIEVER sitting across the feet of all 3 passengers on that row! I was in the aisle seat across. My husband asked for a new seat. They eventually found him another seat. I took this photo after he left. I know we had coach seats, but really DELTA? I thought the flight rules include keeping your foot area and the aisle clear? I also understand people need service dogs, but can't they have special assigned seating? We were flabbergasted! I wanted to sit next to my husband because my own anxiety disorder makes flying challenging, but instead, we had to make accommodations for a huge service dog. My anxiety was through the roof, and this young woman and her dog had a peachy comfortable time! ✈️
