Laissez les bons temps rouler! Our residents had a fantastic time celebrating Mardi Gras right here at PV! From festive beads and colorful masks to lively music and sweet treats, the spirit of New Orleans was alive and well in our community.
It’s always a joy to create moments filled with laughter, connection, and celebration for our wonderful residents.

Presbyterian Village Cobb is a 60-acre Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary with a diverse population of birds and trees. To help identify the trees, download our Tree Guide which shows the location of 22 different species along Virgil’s Nature Trail. Created through the dedication and vision of residents, the Nature Trail winds through woods and across creeks, offering opportunities for birdwatching and connecting with nature.

Today the trail is managed by Peter Cobb, a resident and nephew of Reverend Virgil Sexton, who started it all back in 1997. Today, on Victory over Japan (VJ) Day, we reflect on a pivotal moment in history—August 15, 1945, when Japan’s surrender marked the end of World War II after nearly six years of global conflict.

At Presbyterian Village, we are deeply honored to recognize two of our very own residents who served in WWII. These remarkable gentlemen represent the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of an entire generation.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to them—and to all veterans and active-duty service members—for their unwavering dedication to our country.
