Our favorite 5 natural and effective remedies for ear infections ⬇️

1️⃣ Kid’s Mullein Garlic Oil: We recommend applying 3-4 drops in the ear while in a side-lying position, repeating 3x a day.

2️⃣ Warm Salt Compress: Fill a clean, warm sock with salt and apply it to the outside of the ear.

3️⃣ Onion Poultice: Wrap the heated onion in cheesecloth and allow it to cool before applying it to the ear for 10-15 minutes.

4️⃣ Basil Essential Oil: Put this essential oil on the outer ear when you feel an infection coming on. The aromatic fume alone will help kill off any pathogens that may be brewing up an infection!

5️⃣ Apple Cider Vinegar: Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water. Use a dropper to apply the solution to the affected ear, holding your head tilted to the side.

Ear infections occur when your child’s body can’t properly drain fluid in their ears. This poor plumbing or drainage creates an ideal environment for viruses.

If the body can’t expel the viruses, it becomes chronically congested with them. This leads to ongoing inflammation and recurrent, chronic ear infections and increased susceptibility to other illnesses.
