I've been away for too long! I've had the honor to host healthy cooking classes for people at work and I'll start sharing the recipes here every Wednesday!



P.S. All of these recipes are heart healthy and mostly all obtained from the official American Heart Association with a little twist of my own.

I just thought: "I should've posted this yesterday."

Eating healthy is not that hard. Actually, "meal-prepping" saves money AND helps you lose-weight.

Ingredients:
2-3 tbs of Sesame oil or Canola Oil
3 chicken breasts (sliced in half = 6)
Fajita Seasoning

3 broccoli heads
1 bag of sliced carrots
1tsp of salt.

Directions:
Slice chicken in half, season with fajita seasoning lightly and grill on medium heat on pan with sesame/canola oil until cooked thoroughly.

Veggies:
Bring about 5 cups of water and 1 tsp of salt to a boil, add veggies and cook until soft and firm. *Do not over cook veggies to where they are too soft, when that happens the nutrients have been "broken down" or lost partially in the water.
