From our founder - a personal reflection and invitation:
I took a sabbatical.
Not because I stopped believing in the vision for Kairos,
But because it started becoming real…
And I wasn’t sure I could carry it.
We ran 3 powerful pilot retreats.
I presented our findings at the World Cancer Congress in Geneva.
It felt like I was standing at the edge of a lifelong calling,
And then I pulled back.
I wasn’t afraid of failure.
It was the bigness of the mission.
A life already full,
Two young kids.
My home life.
My own healing.
And a mission more grand than the scaffolding I had to hold it.
And the whisper was always there in the background,
Becoming louder:
“Not some, but all.”
And everything inside me knew:
This work began in service of cancer survivors,
but it was never meant to stop there.
And now, it’s expanding.
Because healing isn’t just for those with a diagnosis.
It’s for anyone carrying the invisible load of illness, loss, or disruption.
It’s for:
→ Caregivers who hold everything together in the background
→ People feeling vulnerable in the face of living with chronic illness and ongoing health challenges
→ Anyone navigating grief and loss, burnout, trauma, isolation, or a major life transition
In other words:
Anyone attempting to heal in a world that doesn’t pause to let them.
That’s why we’re building accessible spaces for calm and healing:
A Digital Healing Sanctuary - online retreats and community space for anyone on the long arc of recovery, care, and transformation.
A place where cost is never a barrier to belonging and receiving, with:
✔ Trauma-conscious Guides, Mentors, and Practitioners to hold space for what’s actually happening
✔ Mind–body–spirit modalities to meet you wherever you are
This is the work I knew I had to come back to.
