When Peter was diagnosed with prostate cancer, he chose a different path for treatment. After consulting with his doctor, he opted for Focal One Robotic HIFU, a groundbreaking procedure with no cutting, no blood loss, no radiation, and minimal downtime.

Peter reflects on his prostate cancer journey and decision-making process:
"To me, focused ultrasound was, I would say a light. You talk about the word cancer and how it really darkens you and your perspective [...] I trusted my urologist and went with his determination that this was the way to go. And honestly, the first follow-up I had when they did my PSA, it had lowered significantly and has continued to lower. And that's why I call it the light, you know, it really removed a lot of the darkness that the word cancer brought into my life."

After the outpatient procedure, Peter was able to return to his active lifestyle and start training for his 38th marathon.
