I love my little city. I was raised by a village of community leaders and I love seeing their legacy in action.

The 21st Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day March and Celebration kicked off with a March from The Historical Fannie Robinson Park (The Hole) to the Taylor Heritage Square and City Hall. Citizens gathered in solidarity and reverence for the Civil Rights leaders who fought for us to live with less oppression. I hope this act of civil observance reminds everyone who America is supposed to be, so that we can step off our current path and back toward our American ideals.

Next up…the Celebration. We also had a funky good time at the Taylor Public Library.
