Think it’s “too late” to get stronger? It’s not.

Adults in their 70s, 80s, and even 90s can build muscle, improve balance, and increase independence with the right kind of exercise. Strength loss isn’t inevitable with age. Inactivity is.

The goal isn’t extreme fitness. It’s:
• getting out of a chair with confidence
• reducing fall risk
• walking farther without fatigue
• staying independent longer

Research shows older adults can increase strength by 25–100% in just a few months when exercise is done safely and progressively.

We break down how to start exercising after 70, what actually matters, and how to build strength without injury or intimidation.

Screens are shaping your child’s spine. Literally.

Kids now spend 4–7 hours a day on devices, often in positions that overload their necks, round their shoulders, and weaken their core. The issue isn’t just discomfort. Children’s spines are still developing, and repeated postures influence how that spine grows.

Forward head posture, rounded shoulders, and slouched sitting aren’t just habits. Over time, they can become a child’s default posture and carry into adolescence and adulthood.

In this post, we cover:
• how technology affects the developing spine
• what “tech neck” looks like in kids
• simple setup and movement strategies that actually help
• when posture issues need professional attention

This isn’t about banning screens. It’s about protecting growing bodies in a digital world.

New year. New baby. Different rules.

Postpartum fitness isn’t about “getting your body back.”
It’s about rebuilding a body that just did something extraordinary.

Your core, pelvic floor, joints, and nervous system all change during pregnancy and birth. Jumping back into pre-baby workouts too fast is one of the fastest ways to create pain, diastasis, or pelvic floor dysfunction.

Realistic postpartum goals prioritize:
• function over appearance
• core and pelvic floor recovery first
• gradual, progressive strength
• consistency over intensity

Let's break down what postpartum recovery actually requires, common mistakes new moms are pushed into, and how to set fitness goals that support healing instead of fighting it.

What is scoliosis??

Scoliosis is a three-dimensional deviation of the spine — a shift away from center.

Traditional physical therapy is designed for symmetrical bodies, but scoliosis isn’t symmetrical.

That’s why the Schroth Method works differently.
It helps you understand your unique spine, retrain posture and breathing patterns, and bring your body back toward balance — from the inside out.

Struggling to get comfortable at night? For people with scoliosis, sleep can be a challenge—back or shoulder pain, difficulty finding a position, or waking up often. The good news: small adjustments can make a big difference!

✔️ Side sleeping with a pillow between the knees
✔️ Back sleeping with a pillow under the knees
❌ Avoiding stomach sleeping

The right setup matters too: a medium-firm mattress gives balanced support, while memory foam can ease pressure points. Pillows that keep your neck and spine aligned (or a supportive body pillow) help reduce twisting and strain.

A few mindful changes can make all the difference, helping you wake up feeling more refreshed, less stiff, and ready to face the day!
