We are feeling sentimental looking at the photos of last year's event. After decades of h**p / Cannabis being unjustly discriminated against, this feels like more than just a competition. We are so grateful for the dedicated growers that have committed themselves to this plant (even when the law didn’t agree). We are so grieved how people (especially black and brown people) have had to hide their plant medicine out of fear. There is much more work to do, but we are coming out of the underground to celebrate the plant that should have never been illegal!
