The very top part of your neck is called the craniocervical junction (CCJ). It is the most vital area of the body. When someone has a trauma or accident that disrupts the integrity of the CCJ, the first clinical sign we can observe is a distortion of posture. We take an engineering approach to spinal corrections. Proof is in the post! We always take post x-rays (shown here) to make sure the correction is complete and to ensure the spine is positioned in a place where it can hold for long periods of time.

Our Recovery Room - The Atlas Correction changes a persons entire posture and the way they move/relate to gravity. Corrects short leg, uneven muscle pull, unleveled hips and any twisting. On a first visit we rest patients a minimum of an hour in here to let the adjustment stabilize.. it’s like laying wet cement.

Our practice focus is the ATLAS CORRECTION. When the atlas/C1 misaligns it distorts the signals to muscles and changes the way the body balances itself.

A precise adjustment to the C1 vertebrae will correct the structure of the body and improve posture.

One of the most common causes of low back, hip and sciatic nerve pain is an unbalanced pelvis. When the pelvis drops on one side or twists it creates abnormal mechanics of the discs, muscles and joints in the low back region and one of the legs contracts to compensate.

On average we take about 10,000 steps a day. If someone walks around day after day, year after year like this.. how are the discs, joint spaces and muscles going to work?!

In our clinic when the Atlas Correction is made the patient's legs will come to an even length and hips become balanced. This correction of the structure happens immediately, creating normal mechanics.

The Atlas Correction is a long term solution for low back, hip and sciatic pain.

Pictured is a short leg contraction caused by an Atlas Displacement. This patient had years of chronic back pain at only 30 y/o that was resolved after the Atlas Correction.
