We need your help!

Our pediatric program is growing—and that’s a good thing. More students are getting the eye care they need to succeed. But we’ve officially exhausted funding for student exams, and 175 students are still scheduled for Vision Field Trips this semester. To close this gap, we need to raise $10,000 to ensure every child receives the care and glasses they need.

$60 = one student’s exam
$1,250 = an entire class

With state testing around the corner, clear vision can make all the difference.

Another half Helen Cooking Challenge is officially a WRAP (pun intended)! From butter chicken to strawberry crepes and everything in between, our team absolutely delivered. We love these moments that bring us together, give us a chance to have some fun, and of course, share some seriously good food. Who would have guessed that the half Helen team was such a talented culinary crew! We’re already cooking up our next challenge… any guesses on what the theme should be?

Last week, we hosted our very first Vision Field Trip of 2026! We welcomed 24 students from Lockhart ISD to the half Helen Eye Clinic, where they received comprehensive vision care and prescription glasses.

A huge thank you to Warby Parker’s Pupil Project for supporting our Vision Field Trip initiative and helping make access to eye care possible. We’re excited to have several more field trips scheduled in the coming weeks—stay tuned!
