Add Website Fixer to the list of many hats I wear as a therapist in private practice 💁🏻‍♀️ sooo glad I finally got it working again!! Not without taking a few years off of my life though, that was stressful 😅😂

Now that my website is working again…. That got me a little inspired to revamp it so I’ll start working on that soon. Yall know how it is with ADHD brain - one thing leads to another around here 😂 I’ll keep yall posted. I love showing everyone little behind the scenes things of being a therapist!!

On today’s episode of “what admin mess am I in today” I put on my IT hat and try to figure out why my website randomly stopped working 🙃🫠 yall send halp and caffeine!!! Idk what I am doing and I’m just a girl lol 💁🏻‍♀️🩷

Happy International Women’s Day. Here’s to the strong badass women who fight every day for the little girls in all of us. Little you needs you now more than ever. She needs your courage, your advocacy, your brains, your strong will, your empathy, and most of all…. Your love. Be kind to the little one in all of you 🩷 she has fought battles for generations. She may be tired, weary, and angry. But she cannot give up. We refuse to give up.

And remember, it’s not CISterhood. It’s SISTERHOOD. If your feminism isn’t intersectional and inclusive, I don’t want it. We won’t stop until ALL of our sisters have the support, access, safety, and equity to thrive. Regardless if you were born a woman, became a woman, identify as a woman, or someone who just supports and loves women - we are honored to have you in our sisterhood 🏳️‍⚧️🩷

Come spend a self care day with me! Trying to practice what I preach lol 💁🏻‍♀️😂

I feel like this day was encompassing so many facets of self care! Sometimes self care is relaxing things like massage, other times it’s completing tasks and chores. Sometimes it’s taking care of our health, other times it’s spending time in the sunshine with your dog or dancing with your girlfriends. It all counts, I promise!!

What are some of your favorite ways to spend a self care day??

Yall ever wondered about allll the work you DON’T get to see your therapist doing…? 👀

obviously our clients see us while we’re therapizing and making the ✨magic✨ happen lol. But there’s so much that goes into the administrative/business side of a private practice that nobody gets to really see!

I want to share some of the little glimpses of things I do behind the scenes when I’m not in session. Today that is hunting for my missing 1099 form! Yay for tax season 🥳😂😜 it’s not fun, it’s not glam, but it’s necessary. Just like a lot of other forms of self care (different topic for a different day lol 👀)

Sharing my therapist ✨glimmer✨ of the week!!

A glimmer is a place, event, or thing that helps find a moment of hope or gratitude… which we all need right now as we are trudging through the dumpster fire of society in 2026 😅😂 this was such a cool surprise to receive. Moments like this are my favorite as a therapist. I love thinking about my former clients living their best lives out there in the world & having a small part in their journey is so meaningful to me. Makes all the hard days worth it 🩷

Forever my happy place 💗 So grateful that dance found its way back to me in this season of life. The joy and release it brings me is unmatched by anything else. Once a dancer, forever a dancer 🩰 even as an old lady like meeee lol 👵🏻 what makes you happy??
