Silverado has a strong connection to Austin, and we are overjoyed to be able to once again offer our unique blend of compassion and clinical excellence to those living with Alzheimer's and other common dementias in Austin and surrounding communities such as Bee Cave, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Buda and more.

Our outing to Reel Popcorn turned us into full-on popcorn fanatics! 🍿 With over 50 flavors to choose from, picking just one was the hardest part. From sweet to savory and even special edition flavors, there was something for everyone to enjoy. This field trip was filled with so many fun facts, and a great movie to eat our popcorn of our choosing!

Did you know that popcorn is a 5,000-year-old snack, with Americans alone consuming 17 billion quarts annually?? We didn’t either!

Safe to say… we’ll definitely be dreaming about popcorn for a while and coming back for another popcorn and movie! 🎥 🍿

There’s nothing better than making pizzas on a gloomy day! 🍕 While singing our hearts out to When You’re Smiling (The Whole World Smiles with You) by Louis Prima, we washed our hands and created fresh pizzas with all of our favorite toppings.

By the time the pizzas were ready, we were so filled with joy, laughter, and music that we completely forgot about the rain outside! 🌧️✨

We 🐾 our pets!

Nothing makes us happier than spoiling our four-legged family members! Today we whipped up some delicious homemade pumpkin oat balls for our sweet pups to enjoy. 🧡🐶

The tails were wagging and the treats were definitely a hit! Because around here, our pets deserve a little extra love too. 🐾✨

We had the honor of joining Fuentes Elementary School for Career Day! 💙

Our lovely Letha proudly represented our community as she educated students about dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, sharing what they are and how it impacts the residents daily lives. She also spoke about her important role as an Engagement Associate and the meaningful difference it makes in the lives of our residents each day.

We love opportunities to spread awareness, inspire young minds, and advocate for those we serve! 🫶

Our Culinary Team knows the way to our hearts 💛🌮

They surprised our team with freshly made breakfast tacos, and let’s just say… it was the best kind of morning pick-me-up! Nothing brings people together quite like good food made with love.
