Please help us welcome our new Family Ambassador! Margarita is originally from sunny California and later made her way to Austin, where her professional journey began in the beauty industry. Throughout her career, she naturally stepped into leadership roles guiding others with patience, supporting team goals, and helping create positive, collaborative environments. Over time, she felt called to a deeper purpose, one centered on supporting individuals and families during meaningful chapters of life, which led her into hospice care.
Working with hospice families deeply shaped Margarita. It opened her eyes to the profound impact that compassionate support can have during some of life’s most meaningful transitions. It also strengthened her desire to serve older adults more closely, especially those living with memory loss. Her gentle leadership style rooted in empathy, presence, and understanding grew even stronger during this time.
This passion ultimately brought her to Silverado Barton Springs. Margarita wholeheartedly believes in Silverado’s philosophy of “Living while you’re living,” and she is honored to help families feel supported, understood, and cared for. As a Family Ambassador, she brings her experience, her warmth, and her steady guidance serving as a kind leader, a supportive resource, and a reassuring presence for every family who walks through the doors. When Margarita isn't serving the residents at Silverado she enjoys spending time with her dogs and trying different restaurants and coffee shops in Austin.
