For many years, Doula Share has served the Central Texas community through education. Doulas coming together to offer their knowledge and expertise to new expertise to new and expecting parents. It began by teaching classes, then moving virtual during Covid, to the expo-style event you’ve seen the last few years. We are so grateful for the origins of this event and the spirit in which it was created. As formats have shifted, so has the need for a clearer picture of what we are offering the community.

Moving forward, Doula Share will be rebranded as Birth and Parenting Expo.

Earlier today, members of last year’s CTDA board hosted the 2025 board for a fun and delicious brunch at Snooze. It was a great time filled with laughter, catching up, and enjoying each other’s company. Just look at all these good SIMaritans together! 😉 🍳 🍓 ☕️

If you didn’t know, the CTDA board is entirely volunteer-based, with all of the amazing work you see being driven by the passion and goodwill of its members. The board is made up of dedicated birth and postpartum doulas in the Austin community, all committed to creating a space where doulas can find support, friendship, opportunities, and more 🩷

We’re incredibly grateful to the 2024 board for their hard work and dedication in keeping the CTDA community thriving, and we’re excited for all the wonderful things the 2025 board has in store! 🙌🏼

How to find Doula Share at the Thomspon Confrence Center downtown.

Please look at this Parking map for Doula Share.

Free parking in Lot 40.

Enter "LOT 40" into your maps app, and it will direct you to the parking lot. The entrance is off Red River St. If you use the building's address, it will take you to the front doors, but there are no parking options.

This event is free to the public. If you registered in advance you should have a parking pass sent via email!
