It’s okay to protect your peace this holiday season.

You are allowed to:
• Say no to gatherings that feel unsafe
• Leave early
• Skip conversations that drain you
• Choose rest over obligation

Boundaries are not selfish—they are a form of self-care and nervous system protection. Especially if the holidays involve family dynamics, trauma, or emotional triggers.

Your peace is worth prioritizing.

🤍 The holidays can amplify grief and loss. 🤍

Whether you’re missing a loved one, grieving a relationship, or mourning the life you thought you’d have—this season can be heavy. You can feel gratitude and sadness at the same time. Both can exist together.

You don’t need to “move on,” explain your pain, or rush your healing. Showing up as you are is enough.

Be gentle with yourself this season.

✨ The holidays aren’t always joyful—and that’s okay. ✨

For many, this season brings pressure to feel happy, be present everywhere, spend money, and hold it all together. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted, you’re not failing—you’re human.

This is your reminder:
✔ You don’t owe anyone perfection
✔ Rest is productive
✔ Your mental health matters more than traditions

Give yourself permission to slow down and do the holidays in a way that honors you.

Ever feel your mood shift suddenly around certain people or situations? Those are emotional triggers — signals from your nervous system that something feels unsafe or overwhelming. 🧠💛 Learning to notice your triggers is the first step toward responding instead of reacting. Pay attention, set boundaries, and practice self-care.

Learning to relax on vacation is a healing journey in itself.
If you grew up in chaos or constantly being “on alert,” slowing down can feel uncomfortable—even when you want to enjoy your time off.

Here’s your reminder:
🧘‍♀️ Rest is not a reward.
🌱 You don’t have to “earn” joy.
💛 Your body is allowed to exhale.

Travel isn’t just about the destination—
It’s about relearning what peace feels like.

Boundary's and family sometimes can be hard to mix...

BUT just because it's hard doesn't mean you don't do it. It's important to set boundaries to protect your peace and allow for you and those around you to have a great day. When we are boundaried, grounded and resourced, we are able to enjoy ourselves SO MUCH MORE!

this holiday season, practice boundary setting. Role play how you will set and say your boundaries. Practice is the key to success.

If the family dynamics are too heavy this year, it’s okay to choose distance over discomfort.

Healing sometimes means changing traditions to protect your peace.
Whether you go, leave early, or skip entirely — you’re allowed to honor what you need.

🌙 Healing means listening to yourself, even when it disappoints others.

Not every family gathering is peaceful, and that’s okay. You can choose peace over participation.

Boundaries don’t make you rude — they protect your mental health and energy.
This Thanksgiving, give yourself permission to say less, step away, or simply not engage.

✨ You can love your family and still protect your peace.

Love bombing isn’t about love — it’s about control.
It starts with grand gestures, constant attention, and fast attachment… but it’s all to create dependency.
Healthy love builds safety, not intensity. ❤️‍🩹

3 signs you may be in a narcissistic abuse or toxic relationship:

1) You are a shell of the person you once were
2) You are afraid to voice your opinions
3) You play conversations in your mind to elicit the least emotional reactive or angry response out of your partner

If you’ve hit the trifecta, take a look at what’s going on. Those aren’t healthy ways of relating to your parented. They are signs of emotional abuse.
