Whatever it is that you’ve been holding yourself back from doing
because of all the “reasons” why it won’t work,
it’s time to go for it.

You don’t need to overthink this.
Just take the first step.
You will find the right path for you along the way…
because every step towards your dream
will teach you something in order to take the next step
and the next one
and the next one.

But sitting in your head,
“waiting for he right moment”
isn’t getting you any closer to where you want to be.

It’s procrastination disguised as preparation.
It’s fear wearing a mask of organization.

There is no better time than now
to put the overthinking aside
and take even just the smallest step towards your dreams.
Don’t wait to live your life.
Today is the best day to live fully.

Step out of thinking mode and into feeling and moving.
You will gain momentum
you will get closer
you will start feeling good in your soul
when you take one simple step at a time :)

Moving from one task to the next
Scrolling from one piece of information to another
Multi-tasking and doing many things at once
Even moving fast in a car or airplane (way faster than our bodies can naturally move! 😜)
These all can have profound effects on our nervous system.

Unfortunately, our bodies haven’t adapters to our insanely fast-paced way of living yet.
So it’s no wonder so many of us are CRAVING moments
for recharge, rest & ease.

You don’t have to give up the fast pace of your lifestyle…
but I strongly encourage you to carve out pockets in your day
to slow down,
to feel where you are,
And to let your body catch up even if it’s just 1%

Rest isn’t just a luxury anymore.
It’s necessary to our mental and physical health’s survival.

So whether it’s mediating, gentle yoga, taking a Walk,
or just staring at the clouds floating by,
time spent moving slowly isn’t time wasted-
it’s time very well-spent taking care of yourself
so that you can continue to show up as fully as possible
in the rest of your life 🥰

Please, please, please stop comparing yourself
to the things you see on a screen.
Not only do people tend to only share the parts of themselves
that they are ok with and even proud of,
but nowadays, we are up against artificial intelligence too.

If we compare ourselves to what we see on social media,
we might actually be comparing ourselves to something that
doesn’t even exist 😳

Aligning ourselves with real life is more important than ever.
Technology can be a powerful tool,
but please remember it’s just that- a tool.
It’s not what we can revolve our lives around
if we want to stay mentally and physically well.

Keep spending your time with REAL people.
And keep sharing YOUR ideas
and write YOUR thoughts when you share.
Humanity is CRAVING your uniqueness.

I invite you to look in the mirror today
and see just how beautiful you are.
Your humanness is a miracle!
And it’s worth celebrating.

Touch your skin and love yourself for everything
you are and everything you’ve gone through.
You are so much more than a visual representation
captured in an image.
You are an increible soul having a human experience.

Let’s start treating our lives like they are sacred.
Because they are ☺️🤍

Let’s have some fun! 🎉
Sometimes life gets so busy that we forget to be playful.
As though there’s some rule that because we’re an adult,
we’re always meant to be serious 🤪

I know I’ve been guilty of feeling like this! 🙋🏻‍♀️
Taking life too seriously can really affect the joy of our spirit.
So when we take time to tap into even the
smallest moments of feeling uplifted, laughing or having a good time,
life becomes … lighter
and those simple moments of lightness make it all
so worth the hard work we put into everything.

I often say in my live classes, “life can be serious,
but the time we spend on our mat doesn’t have to be.”
So let’s practice together with a little lightness in our hearts.
And maybe, just maybe 😉
we can bring that fun and joy into the world around us as well 🩷

Real talk: I’ve had a low-grade migraine for almost 2-weeks now…
And the last few days it has ramped up and I’ve had a massively challenging showing up for normal, everyday tasks.

I caught myself starting to say unkind things to myself about my capacity (sound familiar? 🙃)…and very quickly stepped into the role of being my own best friend and pep talked my way into remembering that I’m human, being human is beautiful, it’s ok that I can’t constantly produce and create and show up the same every single day, and I love my humanness…

If you need a moment to remember that it’s ok to have moments that aren’t the way we are taught we are “supposed” to be on a “work day”, maybe this message can help you out in some way as well. Our humanness can’t be scheduled. And that doesn’t mean we can’t feel it fully when it arises.

Please don’t kick yourself when you’re already down…shifting into a kinder, more loving headspace may actually be what you need to move through a challenge with more ease and grace.

Sending love 🩷 And I hope you feel good knowing that fluctuating in how you feel daily is more than normal and you’re not alone 😊

Yoga & meditation invite us to light up our souls
and move with intention through our lives.

They aren’t the only practices that do that by any means…
but they have created incredible shifts in my life over the years.
They are practices that allow us to be a work in progress
and enjoy the process rather than just seeking a goal.
And even short and sweet classes can have a profound impact on our day
and in turn, the way we experience our lives.

Movement, mindfulness and mindset matter
when we are actively creating a beautiful and healthy lifestyle.
Wellness practices bring us into union with ourselves
and the world around us
so that we can live from a place of joy and love more often.

We don’t have to be happy all the time - we are human 🙃
so it’s important to remember that all of the emotions
are welcome and normal -
AND we can absolutely invite moments of pure awe
and lightness into our days, which help manifest
more positivity, kindness and self-love into our day to day lives.

Lets flow together 🧘‍♀️
And remind ourselves that
simple moments of ease and care
are so very potent and powerful
in our own journey of transformation, healing and growth 🤍

It’s absolutely normal to feel overwhelmed right now.
The world is unstable and many of us are so very
unsure of how we are meant to move through our days…
not sure how to carry this extreme heaviness…

I don’t have any answers…just space to share real talk.
Sharing how I’m sad and angry too.
How I don’t know what to do with all of this.
How I don’t know what’s next…

AND I will not withhold moments of joy from myself.
I did it for many years and it absolutely didn’t help me
or anyone around me to only hold grief and not let myself feel happiness when it would arise,
I’m learning more and more each day to allow myself
to hold both grief and joy
at the same time.

Our human experience is so multi-faceted.
There is so much nuance, so many waves,
so much emotion to sort through.

And as much as it sucks to hold it all,
it can also be beautiful to experience everything we are feeling.
And to learn how to move through the most challenging times
with awareness and permission to feel it all.

Let’s feel the anger, the rage, the sadness, the grief.
AND let’s also learn from it and transmute it into a wise energy that can help bring us closer together
rather than tear us apart further…
Let’s still experience joy and lightness too.
Because grief doesn’t erase these beautiful moments-
it can make them that much sweeter.

Please be kind to yourself as we move through this extremely challenging time.
And please be kind to everyone you meet as well.
We may not all agree…
but we can choose to lead with our hearts so that we can
listen to each other, try to understand, and come up with solutions…together.

Self-care, leaning into community, nurturing ourselves on deep levels will probably not take away the pain of the wars, discrimination, disgusting human behavior and horrific injustices happening all over the world…
But they can make your world better.
And when you take care of yourself,
even in the smallest ways,
it has a ripple effect out to those around you.
Your love and joy and kindness make a difference.

I hope you can find a reason to smile today, even in the midst of the hurt 🤍
