A recent article highlighted the rise in explant surgeries, pointing to athletic lifestyles and concerns about multiple operations. Those are valid concerns, if we’re talking about outdated techniques.

Modern breast augmentation is different.

Today, we size implants to your anatomy. We preserve tissue. We respect movement. Athletic women don’t have to choose between looking strong and feeling feminine.

As for breast implant illness, if you feel your implants are making you sick, I fully support removing them. But there is no scientific test that proves it, and outcomes after explant vary widely. Some women feel better. Some feel no different.
