According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)recovery is, “A process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential." No where in that definition does it talk about drugs and or alcohol. Because, like most of you already know, the substances were just a symptom of the disease of addiction. So, there are many pathways to recover from addiction and or mental health issues. And at Recovery Buds we will help you navigate your own pathway of recovery. We won't lead you, push you, make you, try to persuade you, we will walk with you on your journey. Sooo how do you feel about that definition of recovery?
