Saturday// Sabador Saturn's Day 🪐

I've fallen in love with the Greenway Trailshead System in San Antonio, TX!

I started my 3-mile walk around the Southside Lions' Park on Monday, August 25th, missed two days, and am so excited to be back this Saturday 😀.

This time instead of driving to the park, I chose to walk from my home to the Salado Creek Trailhead (we called these trails the bamboo trails, and it was dirt and creek).

As I made my way to Rigsby Road, I saw a family with their race cars and trailer out, so I stopped for a chat. I shared with them my memories of coming to the races 🏁 with my family when I was a kid, and they (Jennifer, the mom) told me about race days, and connected me to the group's page (Lonestar Midget Race?).

On my walk back home, the family was still there, so I got to see Connor, and Ryan take their cars out for dome warm-up laps 🏁🏎

Tuesday/Martes (Mars Day)

On this day, I was blessed to find hummingbird feeders at my neighborhood family dollar store.

God has blessed my efforts by turning my homemade water bottle feeders into one I can easily manage. 🙌🏾

Eager to know if I would see hummingbirds during the fall/winter, a Gemini search revealed that the Roufus and the Buff-bullied hummingbirds are native to San Antonio, so I'm looking forward to seeing 👀 them.

Three weeks ago, one beer (sheiner bock) and two crown green apple drinks caused me to have an encounter of the worst kind with the concrete, and a very expensive lesson ($1,058.00).

I feel very blessed in that my healing process is going well, and that today's procedure was painless; also, once the dentist began, he realized I didn't need an extra step in the procedure, so my bill went from $1, 410.00 to $1, 058.00 🙌🏾. Also, the receptionist saved me an additional $15 service fee 🙌🏾. Woot-woot 🙌🏾

Giving thanks to my Beloveds for my healing journey and alone time to recover.

Last Sunday, July 13th, I took a terrible fall to the concrete at home. Other than the bruising of my face, and chipped tooth, and temporary shoulder pain, I felt fine. In fact, I felt super human and carried out the next 4-1/2 days like nothing happened.

God is so good to have allowed me to continue my duties of caring for my mom, lifting her from the floor on Wednesday, driving to and from Austin for 2 days and physically applying healing therapies with my clients. Then, after getting home on day 4-1/2, I felt a slight headache 😫. I took a BC Powder and slept well.

Day 5: I rose to feeling well, and getting my mom to the hospital 🏥. While at the hospital, I began to feel my injured side of my face start to feel uncomfortable, then I knew where the night before headache was coming from. My sister reminded me of a detox tonic of ginger, turmeric, and black pepper, and I added pineapple 🍍. After leaving the hospital with my mom, I began to feel chest pains and shortness of breath while at the store (only when trying to take a deep breath). Before bed, I dranked my tonic and prayed that I could lie down, and that my breathing would normalize.

Day 6: day of rest (mom still in the hospital). No more feelings of indigestion, and a slight discomfort with deep breaths.

Day 7: day of rest, and I can take in more deep breaths 😌 (mom still at hospital). I'm feeling much better today, and should be ready for my mom's return home on Monday.

God is so good to give my mom the medical treatment she needs while my body continues to work its magic on me.☺️

I dropped by Horizon's & Moore for Healthcare Wednesdays, also known as Whiskey Wednesdays. Although I was the only customer, I had a great conversation with two bartenders and sampled their Crown Blackberry & Lemonade and Crown Reserve. On my way out, I spoke with Dee Dee, who was working on the patio garden. I admire this black-owned, woman-operated business's commitment to the San Antonio community and its efforts to support other small businesses. They are hosting a Black Wall Street event on Thursday, with complimentary vendor participation. 👏🏾
