You know spring is right around the corner when the Texas Redbuds start blooming. We have two right out front in our parking lot. One always blooms a couple weeks earlier than the other. Just nature taking its time. This is how large the trees have gotten in the five years since we opened. Just a magnificent display of spring in Austin 🌺

Laissez les bons temps rouler! We had a great time at our Mardi Gras party on Tuesday. I was a little late to party so grabbed a picture of the half-eaten snack table. Chef Jeanie prepared a special Cajun-inspired lunch including a delicious Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya and hot Beignets for dessert. You couldn't eat just one! 🤤🎭🍹

Love was in the air as we celebrated Valentine's Day here at SoCo! The residents had a full day of creating beautiful floral arrangements for the tables, making Valentine's, and enjoying a beautiful Valentine's Day party. Chef Jeanie and her team outdid themselves with an elegant lunch. We're still talking about her strawberry-buttercream cuddle cakes 🤤💘💌🥰🌹

If you need a smile today, then head on over to Kerbey Lane Cafe on William Cannon and ask for Achi as your server. Our residents had the pleasure of being served by her on Friday and she went to the trouble of drawing a caricature of each resident on their to-go containers and their receipts! We loved Kerbey Lane before, but now we're making this location our top breakfast spot. Thank you, Achi, for bringing smiles to our residents' faces 🥞 Kerbey Lane Cafe
