There is one thing that always made me feel grounded: Movement.

Skating.
Climbing.
Hanging from monkey bars.

This was before I understood health at all.

But my body always knew the importance of moving freely in nature.

I wasn’t sure what this meant.
I didn’t have answers yet.
But I had an instinct, and I kept following it.

So much of what we call “health” today starts by telling people to distrust themselves.
To outsource their intuition.
To ignore what actually makes them feel strong, clear, and alive.

If I could talk to my younger self now, I’d tell him this:
Focus on 3 principles: nourishment, movement, and trust.

If you feel behind right now- physically, emotionally, or in your health- I want you to know this:

Your body isn’t failing you.
It’s always communicating with you.
It’s always trying to tell you what it needs to heal and thrive.

Sometimes the most radical thing you can do for your health
is to stop forcing what society tells you is “right.”
and to start honoring what already makes you feel good.

Listen to your body. Stop fighting against it.

Saunas can help you sweat, detox and support your cardiovascular health but you need to be careful…

Studies have shown that saunas can lower s***m production due to elevated scrotal temperature (PMID: 23411620, 18076419, 29731401)...

And if your sauna is too hot (>212F/100C) you may be INCREASING (2x) your dementia risk (PMID: 33088678)…

A day in my life…

As you can see, I’m very intentional about my routine…

I know it might seem a little extreme but this is how I feel and perform my best every day…

I strongly believe in prioritizing diet, sleep, and movement to maximize your quality of life…

And while I have optimized my lifestyle to make these habits easier, I believe anyone can build a routine that prioritizes sleep, healthy eating, and movement…

It’s simple:

- 30-60 of sunlight/day
- Avoid processed foods
- Eat unprocessed animal and plant foods
- Exercise 3 times a week
- Limit blue light at night

Do these things and your quality of life will improve…
