The Far West Optical team is excited to welcome the newest member of our eye care family — Dr. Megan Phu!
Megan Phu, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating summa cm laude. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biochemistry, with a minor in Business, from The University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated cm laude.
Dr. Phu is an experienced optometrist who focuses on providing comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. Her clinical training includes routine and medical eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and the management of a wide range of eye conditions. She has cared for patients in both private practice and community clinic settings, gaining experience with diverse patient needs.
Dr. Phu also has experience providing pre- and post-operative care for refractive and cataract procedures and incorporates advanced diagnostic technology into patient care. She is fluent in English and Vietnamese, with intermediate proficiency in Spanish. Dr. Phu has completed all parts of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and holds certification in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease, with Texas optometric licensure.
