A cavitation is a hole in the jawbone that happens when tooth loss or extraction doesn’t heal properly. As mentioned in the article, biological dentists use bone grafting material and platelet rich fibrin (PRF) from the patient to try to prevent them, giving the body the material it needs to rebuild the bone.

Still, not everyone is a good candidate for a dental implant, but there are other options like partial dentures or certain types of bridges.
