Did you know that simply petting your dog 🐶 can help lower your cortisol levels? Living In this crazy, hectic, fast paced world leaves our cortisol levels running way too high - ALL THE TIME! 🤬🥵😱. We can’t live that way, cortisol running too high means we’re living in fight or flight, and our bodies can’t do any healing in that state. Weight loss won’t happen, restorative sleep won’t happen, and our bodies simply cannot get back into rest or repair. 😞. So do this one simple hack … dole out some love on your pet 🐶🐱🦜🐠🐢 and watch those cortisol levels drop.

Whoa !! 3 states, 3 move ins, and now 3 kids in college !! Savanna’s senior year at Chapman, and she’s living at the house 😂🥳🥪! Sienna moved in and is starting her freshman year at UT. And Colten is also starting his freshman year at and was our last move in! This Mom is tired ! Oh! And Savanna turned 21 !! No time to be sad, these kids are launched!! Go rock it Blau kids !!

It’s taken me a week to get my head around this …but I’m so proud of my 2 new grads !! you are an amazingly intelligent, tenacious intellectual who never gives up, and I so admire how you see things through until you have conquered! I admire your optimism and the way you tackle life with such coolness. I am so proud of you both! I know the future is so bright for you! Look at world !!

What an honor it was to speak to my fellow patronesses of the NCL North Austin chapter last week! had me host a talk on Women’s Hormones and Metabolism. Ee do have agency and control over our hormones and metabolism even as we age, and it of course starts with good nutrition and dialing that in with help. Utilizing diagnostic lab tests can ensure you’re eating right for YOU!!

10 Years ago we moved to Austin and I promised the kids we would get a dog. Coconut was that dog, and we were so lucky with God giving us him as our first. It has taken me a bit to write this, but we said goodbye to Coconut last week. It was sudden, not expected, and we are still grieving. He really was the best dog 🐶. He barked the house down when anyone came in, but besides that coconut was as chill as they come. He adopted and looked after his little brother Clover when he came into our lives 4 years ago, and never asked for more than a pat on the head and maybe some leftover veggies 🥕. Coconut we loved you so very much. You made our lives complete when we moved to Austin. I just wish we all had more time with you ❤️. Everyone give their fur family a hug and a cuddle and thank God for your time with them. They really are so special.
