🚸 The Austin High School Students came over to play bingo with the residents. There was a lot of laughter!

Congratulations to our Employee of the Month, Meredith Martin! Meredith has been a Residential Care Assistant at The Cedars for over three years.

She was nominated by a family member who shared how grateful they are to have Meredith on the team. Meredith brings a calm presence, and it’s clear she not only cares for residents but truly cares about them. She consistently checks in with family members, and the connections she builds with both residents and their families are meaningful and appreciated.

Meredith’s dedication shows in the way she looks out for each resident and understands their preferences. She knows what people like to eat and, if something on the menu doesn’t suit a resident, she makes sure the kitchen provides an alternative. That level of attention brings comfort to families, knowing their loved one is being thoughtfully cared for. The family member shared that Meredith is truly a blessing and is so thankful she helps watch over her mother.

We are truly blessed to have someone with Meredith’s compassion and commitment on our team. We’re honored she is part of The Cedars family and confident our residents are not only well cared for, but genuinely cared about.

Congratulations to our Spotlight Employee, Beuleen Valentine! Beuleen has been a Residential Care Assistant with The Cedars for just over a year and typically works the overnight shift in memory care. She was nominated by several team members who shared their appreciation for her willingness to pick up shifts, come in early, and stay late to help provide excellent care for our residents. We are so blessed to have Beuleen on our team and are proud to have her as part of The Cedars family.
