My gums don’t hurt. Why did my dentist/hygienist tell me I need a deep cleaning? Unfortunately gums only begin to hurt when it’s too late. Our gum health matters, considerably.
Bacteria from Gum Disease can cause Lung Disease.
Bacteria from Gum Disease can cause Heart Disease.
Gum Disease can lead to a Stroke.
Diabetics can often have weaker gums, and already prone to heart disease.

Listen when you are told to have that deep cleaning. It matters.
