Little story from New Years Eve yesterday… I went to get my nails done and had a whole plan for my pink “2026 energy” color… then I let someone sway me, changed my mind, and ended up switching nail techs and stations. When I sat down at the new table, I looked up — and instead of the usual music videos, the TV right in front of me was playing PBS Nature… a FAST channel I helped launch. 💗

Every other TV in the salon had music videos which is normal! If I’d stayed at the first table, I never would’ve seen it. It felt like the universe giving me a loving reminder of who I am, the magic, and the impact I’ve made and can continue to do in my orbits of my life!

A little “hey, you’re a badass — keep aligning with what feels true to you and you really really want, and worthy of moment. ✨

Later I reflected more doing what I love 💗 Sauna (with löyly) and a Soundbath and watching Emily in Paris to bring in the New Year, while LouLou was already sleeping from playing with her doggie friends (and Mom’s human friends chatted)

Wishing you all that you are worthy off and listening to the little messages around you as you move into 2026!

The Wisdom to Survive

My mom said she learned how to swim.

Reframing what happens to us can healthy way to survive terrible things, or it can become a veil of denial that keeps us from moving on. Often, we simply have to trust that we will see the truth of things when we are strong enough and ready.

Yet the danger in not seeing things as they are or were is that we can start to believe that in order to learn something we need someone to throw us off the boat, or out of the rela-tionship. If we can’t see the difference between the cruelty or hardship we experience and the wisdom waiting in our reflex to survive, we can find ourselves needing crisis and pain in order to learn. While much learning comes from crisis and pain, not all of it needs to.

We don’t need something to go wrong in order to change.
