If your pigment is being “kept at bay” but never truly improving, it might not be that your serums aren’t good — it may be that there are deeper triggers involved 🤍 Internal health, inflammation, hormones, and even heat can keep pigment activated no matter how many topicals you use. Things like hot environments, intense workouts without protection, saunas, steam, and excessive sun/heat exposure can all stimulate melanocytes and make discoloration linger or rebound. Topicals absolutely help — but real pigment management is a combination of internal support, consistent protection, and understanding your personal triggers. Sometimes it’s less about adding more products and more about looking at the whole picture.
