It’s "Random Acts of Kindness Day," and while it’s great to have a designated day, a little kindness can go a long way every single day.

Whether you’re supporting someone else or taking a moment for yourself, here are a few ways to spread some light today:
Hold the door for a stranger.
Offer patience to someone who might be having a rough day.
Send a thoughtful text to a friend you haven't spoken to in a while.

And most importantly, don't forget to be kind to yourself too. Self-compassion is the foundation for everything else.

How are you practicing kindness today? Let us know in the comments! 👇

Valentine’s Day isn’t only about romantic love.
It’s about all the ways we care, connect, and show up.

It’s the friend who checks in.
The parent doing their best.
The quiet choice to be kinder to yourself.

This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating love in all its forms—self-love, chosen family, healing, boundaries, rest, and growth.

However you’re spending today, you’re worthy of care, support, and compassion. And if that includes reaching out for help, we’re here. 💕

Happy Valentine’s Day from all of us at Austin DBT Associates. 💕
