In this video, Alex is demoing one of the best exercises for building a strong, well-developed back: the barbell row.
When done correctly, barbell rows help build upper back muscle, improve posture, and carry over to other major lifts and movements.
Key things to get right:
▪️Keep a neutral spine (no rounding)
▪️Pull your shoulder blades back each time you row
▪️Drive your elbows back, do not lead with your hands
You should feel this primarily in your lats and mid-back. If you don’t, then come see Alex and he’ll fix that for ya.
