Like most people in this industry we usually develop a passion and love for this pretty early in life. I have been a self taught makeup artist since I was 9. I can remember sitting on the bathroom sink watching my beautiful (young) mother put her makeup on before school. When she would leave for work, that’s when the artist in me could explore my talents. As I got older my monthly CosmoGirl and Se
venteen subscriptions would fill my appetite for all things beauty and fashion. My friends turned to me for all there makeup and hair needs. After high school I decided to spread my wings. I was fortunate enough to live in the Aloha State, Hawaii. What an amazing place to discover yourself. There I learned makeup tricks from a few very talented Drag Queens. These women could contour way before Kim Kardashian! After moving back to the mainland I experienced the corporate world and developed other skills but my passion for this industry never died. In 2014 I decided it was time to make a change. I packed up my life and made the 25 hour drive from Washington, DC to Texas. Where I attended Ogle Beauty Academy in San Antonio and received my Esthetician License. Working in my first Spa I became Lead Esthetician after only a few months. I have trained with several Plastic Surgeons, where I developed a better understanding of chemical peels, laser treatments and cosmetic procedures. As this forever evolving industry grows, so do I. I am always searching for the latest and greatest treatments and procedures to offer my clients. I recently was honored to train with the amazing Kim Zen at DeluxeBrows, San Diego. I am now certified in Microblading and Ombre Shading after a month of online training and an intense week long of hands on training with Kim. Kim was recently ranked the 7th most influential Microblading Artist in the world. Aqua Luna Aesthetics offers an extensive range of beauty treatments.
