Despite all of our careful preparations, this ice storm left its mark on Hospice Austin's Christopher House. A pipe burst in one of our patient rooms, a stark reminder of the building’s age and vulnerability.

As Austin’s only nonprofit hospice, Hospice Austin relys on community support. Your donation today will help repair the storm damage and provide essential supplies. Every gift makes a difference. Thank you for helping us care for our community.

Grief is a natural response to loss but understanding it and giving yourself permission to grieve in your own way can be incredibly challenging. There’s no single “right” way to experience grief, and no two journeys look the same.

To support our community, Hospice Austin offers a free monthly webinar series, Conversations on Grief, created to help you explore your grief with guidance, compassion, and practical tools.

Join us on Thursday, January 15 from 11 a.m. to noon for a thoughtful discussion on the difference between intentions and resolutions. We’ll explore how to identify meaningful intentions, how to weave them into your daily life, and how to check in with yourself along the way.

You’re welcome to join us wherever you are in your grief journey.
