✨TEFA Applications Opening Soon✨

We’re excited to share that Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) applications will be opening on February 4th, and that First Class CDC proudly accepts TEFA vouchers for Pre-K children ages 3–5.

What is TEFA?
TEFA is a Texas education program that provides eligible families with a state-funded education voucher to help cover approved educational expenses, including Pre-K tuition at participating centers like ours. All families are encouraged to apply!

If you are a current family or considering enrollment, TEFA may be a great option to help support your child’s early education with us.

Beginning February 4, 2026, parents can submit applications for the Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) program. Education freedom accounts are designed to open doors, expand opportunities, and give each Texas child the chance to learn in the environment that fits them best.

Important Weather Update ❄️
January 26, 2026
Hays ISD, Austin ISD and surrounding areas have closed tomorrow due to ongoing weather conditions and the possibility of roads refreezing overnight. In alignment with their decision and out of an abundance of caution, both locations of First Class CDC will be closed tomorrow, January 27th.

The safety of our families and staff is our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and will keep you informed of any updates. Stay warm and safe!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Ally Medical ER Buda for visiting First Class CDC this morning and hosting a Teddy Bear Clinic for our children!

During the Teddy Bear Clinic, our students had the opportunity to bring their stuffed animal to “visit the doctor.” Through pretend check-ups, gentle conversations, and hands-on play, children learned what happens at a medical visit in a fun, age-appropriate, and non-threatening way.

Events like this are so important because they help:
✨ Reduce fear and anxiety around doctors and medical settings
✨ Teach children about health and wellness through play
✨ Build confidence and understanding in a safe, nurturing environment
✨ Create positive early experiences with healthcare professionals

The children were engaged, curious, and excited! Many proudly showed off their teddy bears after their “check-ups!” Experiences like this leave a lasting impact and help lay the foundation for healthy attitudes toward medical care.

Thank you again to Ally Medical for investing in our children and supporting our community through meaningful, educational outreach. We are so grateful for your time, care, and dedication! 💙🐻

At First Class CDC, we know that sometimes our families and neighbors can use a little extra support, and our community is full of wonderful resources ready to help.

These programs are open to everyone and are here to make sure our community stays nourished and cared for.

Kids in Cars: Free Car Seat Distribution Event!
Join others at the Kyle Public Library on Wednesday, October 15 at 11 AM to learn about proper car seat installation and safety. Families who attend the short education session will receive one free car seat per child (for children 4+ years old, 40+ lbs, and 44+ inches tall).
