In the spirit of celebrating the extraordinary qualities that reside within our team, we proudly introduce the "Next Step Recognition Award." This award serves as a testament to the unsung heroes among us, nominated by their peers, whose daily actions embody selflessness, empathy, caring, sympathy, tenderness, and so much more. These remarkable individuals inspire us not in pursuit of recognition but simply because that is who they are.

Today, we recognize Darion McAtee, a Registered Nurse Case Manager at Harbor Hospice of North Missouri.

Please take a moment to read what her coworkers are saying!

Kind words from a coworker:
“Darion was visiting a patient when a facility employee suffered a medical emergency. Darion jumped right in and assisted with CPR until EMS arrived. The employee was transported to the ER. The next day, Darion brought sweet treats to the facility staff as an act of kindness. So glad that Darion is a part of my Team!”
