NuCara Infusion Center - Austin

Effective October 17, 2025, NuCara Infusion Center in Austin (6013 Burnet Rd.) and Killeen (4201 W Stan Schlueter Loop) will be permanently closed.

We will be transitioning to be a home-based infusion model for certain treatments. This change will allow us to focus on providing convenient and comfortable care for patients receiving antibiotics and IVIG, subject to individual insurance and plan approval.

We had a great time providing education on IV access to the nurses at Capitol Home Health in Austin. Our goal is to provide resources to our home health partners; so that thier nurses have the tools they need to succeed in our patients’ care.

I was referred to NuCara's infusion center during my doctor's transition to his new office. Though anyone who has to utilize this type of treatment knows the word "fun" is never associated with the experience, I have to say this team is totally patient-centric. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming and professional. The environment was tastefully decorated and my recliner was very comfortable. My nurse even brewed me a tasty cup of coffee!

I have been involved with NuCara for several months. I am a difficult stick for an IV. They have been so patient finding the perfect plan for my care. I can say they pull all the stops, I am sure it is not just me!
