28 years ago, I lay flat on the ground on Sainte-Baume’s mountain top, my heart merging with the land and the soul of Mary Magdalene.

I wanted to go back to the top of the mountain where my 29 year journey begin. It wasn’t mean to be! Sometimes when we want to recreate the past, we need to let go and be present to see what life brings us.

Next, I traveled to St. Maxium, a 2-hour drive. I meditated on the steps of Mary Magdalene’s crypt in the cathedral waiting for people to leave the crypt. I quickly settled into a deep silence and heard a voice saying:
‘I am not dead. You don’t need to be here. Go to Sainte Baume and I will teach you what you need to know.” Her message? Mary Magdalene is a living being guiding
us to experience “the kingdom of heaven within”!

As I received an Egyptian oil session from them, It was the perfect start to my journey, as I knew I was being guided to just what I needed. I was reminded that many ancient cultures, such as India, Egypt, Persia, Israel, and France understood the power of essential oils to heal our emotions and bring balance to our subtle bodies. “Gary Young created the Raindrop Essential Oil T echnique from his experiences in the Egyptian temples.”

While staying at the Abbey, a stranger introduced herself and said: ‘We are taking a course on Egyptian healing with essential oils.’ Again, a sign of divine guidance! I was reading a book by the creator of this course!

She invited me to experience an Egyptian healing session.
I knew it was a message for me confirming that Mary Magdalene and Jesus had studied in the temples Egypt. They understood the power of essential oils to bring us closer to God and Divine Mother.

Just down the road, I stayed at an ancient abbey. The abbey reflected the wisdom of an ancient time. It resonated with a special energy.

In the chapel, on the Winter Solstice, the light shines through a tiny window and strikes the altar. The builders knew what we’ve forgotten: space can be sanctified when aligned with the heavens and the earth.

Upon arriving in France, I traveled to the heart of Provence, where Gary Young first learned to distill essential oils. The wisdom of Mary Magdalene still permeates this land.

At Young Living’s French farm, Nicolas Landel gifted me a bottle of Wild Crafted Provence Lavender that vibrated with the energy of the Heavens. Holding that bottle, I felt centuries of perfumer-monks whispering: ‘Share this sacred craft.’ Now, every bottle of Lavender oil reminds me—we’re keepers of an ancient lineage.

Since that time, I have felt a deep connection with Mary Magdalene. In the Bible, she is known as the one who poured Spikenard oil on Jesus to prepare him for the Crucifixion. She was trained as a Wisdom Keeper and used essential oils as a healer. She deeply understood the true teachings of Jesus and brought this wisdom to
southern France.

I have often displayed her picture when I taught essential oil classes around the world. I have connected with her energy daily to guide me in my life. Now it was time to discover what she was calling me to do next, as the world was changing and my own life was at a turning point.

In 1997, an Aromatherapy magazine article revealed Mary Magdalene had lived in southern France. A month later, my husband won a trip to Belgium—it was this divine timing that led me to Sainte-Baume. When I first hiked to the top of the mountain, I was overwhelmed by the connection I felt to this land. As I pressed my body into the earth, my soul merged completely with the energy of Saint Baume and Mary Magdalene. My soul had returned home, and I was one with this place. Now I was returning to reconnect with the energy of Mary Magdalene and the energy of Mother Earth at Saint Baume.

In October 2024, I traveled to France—not just to visit places, but to reconnect with the deepest essence of who I am and my soul’s mission.
With the dramatic changes happening both in the world and in my own path—I felt called to return to the spiritual origin of my life’s work with essential oils. A place where my soul merged with the ancient energy of Saint Baume and I became one with this place.
Sainte-Baume is the land where Mary Magdalene spent her final years, where kings once pilgrimaged, and where, I had a powerful initiation into my journey with essential oils.
