Navigating Grief During the Holidays
The holiday season can bring a mix of emotions for anyone impacted by cancer — especially when loss is part of your story. In the article “How I Navigate Grief and the Holidays After Cancer Loss,” the author shares a deeply personal reflection on how grief and joy can coexist, how traditions may feel different, and how gentle rituals and self-care can help honor both love and loss this time of year. The piece reminds us that grief is a natural, complex human experience — and that it’s okay to feel both sorrow and gratitude as you move through the season.

What better way to spend your time when it's cold outside than heating things up in the bedroom (or the kitchen, or the living room, or the backyard)?! Try the Intimacy After Dark card deck, which has 6 different sub-decks that let you choose your pleasure-based focus for that day. You may want to spark a s*xually-focused conversation. You may rather lift your partner(s) up and have them lift you up as well. You may want to try teasing each other s*xually, talking flirty and/or even try spicing things up with cards that give you a specific suggestion such as "play with drawing ice over your partner's body" or "pretend you've never met your partner before and seduce them." This card deck can help to get the ball rolling on spicing up your s*x life if this is something you've thinking about. If you then come across some road blocks on your way towards a more fulfilled s*x life, come visit Erin at CRIM in person or via Telehealth.
Intimacy After Dark card deck:

Ignite passion and connection with playful prompts and s*x talk ideas. Perfect for couples looking to explore new dimensions and deepen their intimacy.

Acupuncture is one of the most powerful tools we use to help the body shift out of “fight or flight” and into deep rest. By stimulating specific points, acupuncture supports the parasympathetic nervous system — helping your body slow down, breathe, and heal.
Many of our patients find relief with:

• Anxiety + overwhelm
• Insomnia + restlessness
• Pain and tension related to treatment
If you’ve been thinking about trying acupuncture, now is the time.
