Finding the right therapist is a lot like dating - the right fit matters. You deserve to feel safe, heard, respected, and challenged in a way that helps you grow.

It’s okay to ask questions. It’s okay to trust your gut. And it’s definitely okay to keep looking until it feels right. The right therapeutic relationship can make all the difference.

Therapy isn’t always breakthroughs and big realizations… sometimes it’s nervous laughs, “I don’t know,” and accidentally unpacking your entire childhood in 50 minutes.

How many can you check off? Be honest.

(And yes, showing up counts as a win every time.)

You can’t think your way out of an emotion.

We often try to analyze, rationalize, or “logic” our way through feelings like anxiety, sadness, or anger. But emotions aren’t problems to solve, they’re experiences to move through.

Instead of fighting the feeling, try noticing it. Name it. Breathe through it. Give it space to exist without needing to immediately fix it.

Sometimes healing starts when we stop trying to outthink our emotions and start allowing ourselves to feel them.

Consider this your sign to curate your feed with things that actually support your mental health.

Your social media feed is part of your mental environment.

What you scroll, like, and follow every day shapes how you see yourself and the world. If certain accounts leave you feeling drained, insecure, or stuck in comparison, it’s okay to unfollow, mute, or step back.

Curating your feed isn’t petty, it’s self-care. Protect your peace, follow what inspires you, and remember that your mental health matters more than anyone else’s content.

If your relationship with food or your body feels exhausting, you deserve support. Healing is possible - even if part of you is scared to let go.
