I know many of you are sensitives like me. You might already be tuning into the energy shift that’s happening as we inch closer to the new year. 🎆 Something major is coming and we’re being guided to make space for it.

This year, have you been revisiting anything big to finally reach completion or get closure? Are you letting go of something you’ve held for a long time- whether that’s an actual object, a relationship, an old emotion, outworn habit or belief?

Sure, we do this (hopefully) at the end of every year, but this is beyond that. Spiritual systems like numerology and astrology point to key cycles ending now, opening the door for massive changes in 2026. We’re ending a 9️⃣ cycle now and starting a 1️⃣ cycle next year. Many outer planets are moving into different signs all at once in a way that’s never happened in our lifetimes. Supercharged solar ☄️ storms continue to activate and awaken us.

For much of my life, I didn’t believe in angels. Perhaps their depiction with wings caused me to dismiss them as mythological fantasy creatures like the Pegasus. 🪽 Or maybe I rejected their religious association along with the “old bearded man in the sky” concept of God. I’m not quite sure why, but I was a definite “no to angels” even as I experienced my initial big spiritual awakening.

Many years later when a Kundalini activation ⚡️ & subsequent Dark Night of the Soul knocked me off my feet, I was literally begging for divine intervention and Voila! - the Archangels appeared. Their energy is indescribably comforting and physically palpable for me in my heart chakra. 🫶🏻🪷 I can’t quite explain the sensation, but I distinctly know when I’m connected to an Archangel versus another loving non-physical being. I now realize that they were there all along. They simply couldn’t intervene without my consent on some level.

Angels helped me through that incredibly heavy time in my life when I felt like I couldn’t keep going. 🙏🏻 They didn’t magically fix all my problems or dissolve all of my suffering. However, they provided hope that strengthened & uplifted me.

I grew up believing that if something isn’t offered, it’s rude to ask for it. Heaven forbid I’m ever rude, ha! 😜

The reality is…It doesn’t hurt to inquire. Sure, it doesn't always feel good to get turned down. But it's not the end of the world, and sometimes amazing possibilities open up if you're willing to take a risk and ask.

Sometimes someone hasn't offered something because the idea simply never crossed their mind. I've even been told, "I was waiting for you to ask me that!"

Sometimes the most remarkable discoveries happen just outside our front door. 🦋

Yesterday my spirit guide nudged me toward a nature walk, though my mind immediately jumped to all the work waiting on my laptop. Resistance kicked in - wouldn't this derail my productivity? But I followed through anyway and as I walked, numerous insights and ideas 💡 popped in that would actually make my work easier.

Across the street from my place lies a trail I never knew existed for the first decade I lived here. I only discovered it in 2020 when COVID closed the popular hiking spots, forcing me to explore my own neighborhood. Hidden behind a parking lot, not visible from the street, was an entrance to miles of interconnected green pathways. It was such a thrill to find abundant nature 🌿 access when I needed it most, like a beggar stumbling across buried gold.

Remember that rush of unexpected discovery? That childhood wish to become an explorer like Indiana Jones, uncovering hidden treasures in ancient lands? When was the last time you felt that?

I know I’m not the only one - many clients and friends recently shared that they’re either tired or lacking drive.🌱Honestly, I didn’t realize how depleted I was until my Spirit Guides got my attention….

Last month I was blessed with housesitting a gorgeous spacious home for a few weeks. ✨ It seemed like a perfect time to get started on a companion workbook for my first book “Awakening Transformation - A Beginner’s Guide to Becoming Your Higher Self.”🙌🏻 Shortly after I got started on the new book, Spirit guided me to get Michael Sandler’s book “AWE: The Automatic Writing Experience.”

If you read my recent post on automatic writing, you know it’s only been a few weeks since I started this specific practice for communicating with my Spirit Team. I absolutely love it AND I don’t do it every day. My personal spiritual practice has a lot of fluidity according to how I feel - rigid discipline feels yucky to me!

Part of what I enjoy is that my Spirit Guides rarely say what I expect! I love little surprises and I guess they know that. I’m loosely following the AWE practice & one of the daily questions is What Do I Need to Know Today? I thought my Spirit Team would give me wonderful writing tips and encouragement to get my book done. Of course, that’s not what they said! I’m sharing their messages because I suspect that many of you could benefit from it. We’ve worked on not getting stuck in “doingness” and yet there’s still more layers to release to become truly free. 🦋

🔷 Sunday - What do I need to know today?

"You are living your purpose. You are on your path. It doesn’t mean that every moment, every breath must be focused on your purpose, or at least not in a heavy or intense way. Let it be light, playful. Enjoy your life and be free. It’s not meant to be intentionally hard. Yes, there will be challenges and difficult moments. ⛅️ That happens unintentionally when you resist the growth you are ready for. This is understandable and part of the growth process. The old way gets challenged and must break down in order for a breakthrough to occur. But there’s many other times when you make your everyday life heavy and burdensome unnecessarily in the name of purpose or intention.

Intention needn’t be strenuous. In fact, if you are living your purpose with joy and lightheartedness, you may find that you have more energy to do your "work". It becomes more sustainable when there is a playfulness 🙃 mixed into your purpose. Look for anywhere in your routine that feels heavy and see if you can lighten it by making it a game. Sprinkle in a dash of play while continuing to honor and value it just the same."

Ok, fine. I heeded their suggestion and went for a nature walk. I did a puzzle 🧩 with my boyfriend. A couple days later I went back to automatic writing & asked again.

🔷 Tuesday - What do I need to know today?

"Know that it’s ok to have fun and relax. We will keep telling you this until it has become natural for you to do so. Right now, you are still fighting the urge to be productive. It’s heavily ingrained in you to spend your day checking items off your to do list.✅ We understand this helps you to remain focused. It can be a useful tool.

What if you sometimes simply followed your inspiration as to what you wish to do? There is a time and place for most things. You can give yourself a break from the list from time to time and all will be well. Try it just for today. No list. Just feeling into what to do next. This allows new ideas to flow in. New possibilities. It also leaves more room for inspiration, for our messages. We’re not suggesting that you live this way permanently. Only that now is a time when you could benefit from greater ease and spaciousness."
