The woman who built the legacy — and the daughter who carried it across the world.

This Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating a story that’s especially close to our hearts.

For more than 45 years, Lidija Obid has been a leader in the beauty and wellness industry in Slovenia. She opened her first salon in the small town of Cerkno and, through dedication, expertise, and a deep passion for her work, grew her practice into multiple locations serving communities in the Idrija and Nova Gorica regions. Known for her precision, knowledge, and commitment to continued education, she built a reputation that has earned the trust of generations of loyal clients.

Her daughter, Manja, grew up in the treatment room watching it all happen — learning the craft, the discipline, and the care that goes into every service.

After completing cosmetology school, Manja worked alongside her mother before eventually bringing that same European skincare philosophy to the United States. Today, she continues that legacy as the owner of Lepa European Esthetics in Austin, where she has been caring for clients for 17 years.

From Slovenia to Texas, from mother to daughter — a passion for skincare that spans generations. 💛
