I love teaching Reiki! In tonight's Reiki level 2 class we worked on sending healing across time and distance.

The energy we use for that is so powerful. It can feel overwhelming like it's almost too much when you're first learning to work with it. The students tonight were so strong.

They did such a great job even while feeling a bit overwhelmed. I can't wait to see them next week after a week of practice. They're powerful healers already. I hope they move on to level 3 and become Reiki masters. The world needs more healers whether they focus only on their own healing or they get out and heal the world, they make a difference. Big respect to my students. ❤️❤️❤️

Today tarot client told me that 60 days, ago I told her that she would likely receive 2 different job offers within the next 60 days.

One job would be frenetic like a start up and the other would offer better work/life balance.

She wanted me to know that she accepted an offer yesterday. She chose the job where she can have better work/life balance. I'm so happy for her.

What good does attending a Rally do? Thousands of people show up today and tomorrow nothing changes.

1. It shows us that we aren't alone. Maybe you're surrounded by people who are ok with all the awful stuff going on. Then you wake up and see that 8 million people went to a Rally near you.

2. It builds community. Not only are you not alone but you can connect with like minded people in your community and possibly take action together.

3. It inspires next steps. Everyone says that but what are next steps? There are often many organizations that set up tables at the rallys. You can talk with them and get information about what they're doing to help. You can pick a favorite cause and connect with an organization that champions your cause. You may find neighbors there and decide to keep it local and help share food with neighbors who are struggling or help protect immigrant neighbors. You may decide to write letters to the corporations you're boycotting to tell them why. You may decide to use 5calls.org to call your congressmen or just call, write or email them directly.

4. It shows the people in power the growing numbers of people who oppose them. It shows that for every one call or letter they receive, there are thousands who feel the same but haven't taken action yet.

Today is the day to commit to at least 1 act of peaceful resistance that you can do again and again.

Today I did a tarot reading by phone. I decided to use my Paws Tarot deck. I've never used it professionally before, only as a personal deck.

It's so cute! The reading was a rather serious one about someone's child. But this cute deck could handle the serious topics and I felt like it picked up on the child's energy in a way that may have been harder to do with other decks.

The whole time I was reading about the mom's concerns, I was filled with the child's joy. This gave me the gift of being able to, not only have deep compassion for the mom's concerns, but also sincerely reassure her that her child is happy because they are a perfect child and the mom is the perfect mom for her child.

Last night I had the pleasure of going to someone's home to do tarot readings for a women's Bunco club.

They meet monthly and have a different theme for each meeting. Last night their theme was astrology and tarot. They came dressed in costumes to represent their zodiac sign.

I was in a quiet room away from the action but I could hear non-stop laughter the whole night. The women were all so sweet and the readings were deep and heartfelt. I love doing tarot for small parties.
