The kids dove right into our teddy bear mock medical setup, learning all about radiology, medicine, and how we care for patients.

We loved hosting such an enthusiastic group and are grateful for the opportunity to spark curiosity about healthcare in the sweetest way alongside Republic EMS, LTD.

5 Things You Didn't Know About Your Lungs!🫁

Your lungs work hard every day, but do you know how amazing they really are? Check out these fun facts:

🌳Your lungs have a tree-like system: the trachea splits into bronchi, which branch into bronchioles, ending in tiny air sacs called alveoli.

🎾If you were to spread out all the tiny air sacs in your lungs (alveoli), they would cover an area about the size of a tennis court. That’s a huge amount of space for breathing!

❤️The right lung is larger and has three lobes, while the left lung has two lobes to make room for your heart!

🌬️An adult takes about 20,000 breaths a day. That’s a lot of air for your body!

🤣Laughing and singing help your lungs breathe deeper and take in more oxygen. So, sing your heart out!

Ally Medical ER Central Austin was thrilled to host a Teddy Bear Clinic, where over 200 kids got to step into the shoes of a doctor for the day.

Watching their faces light up as they learned about health and care was truly priceless. We can’t wait to see all the future healthcare heroes we inspired! 💙
