✨ Meet Dianna, Lead Radiology Technologist at Ally Medical ER Central Austin ✨
Our Lead Radiology Technologists play an essential role in emergency care. Through precise, timely imaging, they help providers quickly identify what’s happening and determine the best next steps for treatment. Just as important, they offer reassurance and compassion, helping patients feel calmer and more comfortable during stressful moments.
For Dianna, one of the most rewarding parts of her role is hearing directly from patients.
“My favorite thing about the community I serve is hearing positive feedback from patients when they are here for care. Knowing they trust us and appreciate the care we provide confirms that what we do truly matters.”
Outside of work, Dianna enjoys spending time with her puppies and husband, as well as traveling to Rockport to visit her stepchildren and grandbaby. She’s also a creative at heart and loves making badge reels and handmade items for her Etsy shop, The Cow and Craft House. You can often find her participating in local markets, where she enjoys connecting with customers face to face and building relationships within the community.
She describes herself as caring, gullible, and sometimes silly.
“I genuinely care deeply about others, tend to see the good in people, and don’t take myself too seriously. I believe laughter and kindness go a long way, especially in the work I do.”
Dianna enjoys caring for patients in the emergency setting because she can help ease their stress.
“I love helping patients feel calm and truly cared for, whether that’s offering reassurance, grabbing a pillow, or making sure they don’t feel rushed during their visit.”
Her favorite part about working at Ally Medical ER is feeling valued and appreciated.
“I always feel that the work I do and the time I invest are truly noticed. From competitive pay to thoughtful gestures like food and treats, Ally makes coming to work enjoyable.”
As a Lead Radiology Technologist, Dianna finds fulfillment in supporting her team.
“Receiving positive feedback from my staff and knowing I can help them grow and create a positive work environment is incredibly rewarding. We have a great team here at Central, and I couldn’t do my job without them. I’m also grateful for the other radiology leads I’ve worked with over the past nine years. We support each other and make each other better.”
One thing she wishes patients knew about radiology in emergency care is just how involved the role truly is.
“We’re not just ‘button pushers.’ We play a critical role in patient care by obtaining images safely, accurately, and efficiently, while also providing comfort and reassurance during a stressful time.”
