For our pills by mail program, we can accept Medicaid in IL, MD, MN, & MT. In VA, we take private insurance for abortion care and GYN services. Unfortunately, VA Medicaid is limited to GYN and cannot be used for abortion care at this time.

Pregnancy criminalization isn’t a theory—it’s happening right now. Across the U.S., people are being investigated, arrested, and prosecuted for pregnancy outcomes, including miscarriage and stillbirth.

This system didn’t appear by accident. It’s the result of anti-abortion extremists pushing laws that give the state power over our bodies. Who benefits from these policies? The same people who profit from mass incarceration and all systems of oppression.

Criminalizing pregnancy erodes trust in healthcare, pushes people away from the care they need, and invites the state to police our bodies. When pregnancy is treated like a crime scene, no one is safe—not the pregnant person, not their family, not their community.
