Milo is on vacation this weekend at Ron's house. He'll returns soon. I bet he is pretty happy to get a break from Dante.Well, the weekend up in Dallas was completely fabulous.

::February schedule changes::

Monday 2pm will start at noon again
Monday 6:15 will move to Clear Spring
Wednesday 2pm will start at noon again

Sunday will no longer have an 11 am nor a 1:45 class. To accommodate workshops we will now have one donation class from 12:30-2.

It was a busy day today, for lots of you. You all got so happy about Laurie's workshop that you jumped right up and completed the enrollment for Manouso. We are now officially full and closed, barring drop outs. I will take about 10 people on a wait list, and you can email or call or text to put your name on that. I've got three folks already.
And you do understand how wonderful this all is, such new energy? It's a lovely thing. Namaskar.

For everyone attending Laurie Blakeney's workshop this weekend: PARKING ADVISORY, PROP ADVISORY, AND FRIDAY START TIME ADVIISORY:

We are expecting a large crowd for the upcoming workshops with both Laurie Blakeney coming up this weekend, and Manouso Manos coming in February. Fantastic attendance!

However. Clear Spring Studio parking is only fit for 20 cars maximum, and we are expecting 50.
Therefore this Parking Advisory:>> Carpooling is the rule and not the exception. Three attendees per car, unless you're walking or cycling.

Okay everybody, there will be no 4:15pm class today, but Devon will teach the 6pm class.

Ok, it's 29 deg. F outside and police are asking people to stay off the roads due to ice. And the forecast is for more freezing precipitation soon.
So I am officially cancelling my 9am class.

UPDATE: Sheryl's 10:45am class is also cancelled.
I will know this afternoon if the icy conditions and the weather and police advisories are still in effect. I will cancel the 4:15 and the 6pm classes if the city and weather services advise people to stay off the streets.

To everybody with classes at Clear Spring on Tuesday-- please first check the weather, then the streets, and then this page to see if anyone is cancelling class.

If the streets are all icy and the radio stations, newspapers and weather people say for everyone to stay off the streets at 8am Tuesday morning, then I will cancel the 9am class. And I'll make a note on this page for all to see (I hope).

This will remain true for the 10:45am class with Sheryl, and the 4:15 and 6pm classes with Devon. If streets are clear, there will be class.

Take care of your animals and plants and people, drip your faucets, and if you park your car on the street, cover it with a tarp tonight. That way you won't have to scrape ice off your windshield tomorrow if you must go out...

Anne is teaching Level 3-4 at 3:45-5:45 today. Lots of fun Junior 3 poses, Akarna Dhanurasana 2, Eka Pada Sirsasana Marichyasana 2 and the parivrittas. Fun times.
