This Thursday, Gruene Hall is proud to host the second run of H***y Tonk Thursdays, a live music series spotlighting emerging country artists on the rise. These shows give a platform to the next generation of Texas talent - artists who are building momentum and ready to make their mark.

All performances are free, all ages, and benefit the SIMS Foundation's mission to provide mental health and substance use recovery services for musicians, music industry professionals, and their families! Come on out!

We’re officially three weeks out from Amplify Austin! Now is the perfect time to set up your donation page or make an early gift in support of the SIMS Foundation. Early giving helps build momentum and ensures our music community continues to have access to critical mental health care.

Huge thank you to Greg Carter from Sonic Guild Austin for sharing his insights and reminding us how deeply SIMS has impacted our community.

Let’s amplify this work together! 💥

This year, we are heartbroken to share that the SIMS community lost a truly beautiful soul, Karen Zeidan.

A true trailblazer, Karen was a dedicated SIMS volunteer and frequent staple at our community events. Karen gave her time, her kindness, her strength, and her spirit to all so generously, and everyone at SIMS and our broader community is better off from having known her.

Her love, impact, and inspiration will continue to be felt by the entire SIMS community. We thank everyone who has given to our mission in her honor. 💙

SIMS Foundation is excited to celebrate Black History Month! Austin is a city rooted in diversity and inclusivity, especially within its music community.

This month, we celebrate all of the Black musicians who have shaped, inspired, and elevated the Austin music scene and our city’s sound and culture.

From left to right: Gary Clark Jr, Mélat, Jackie Venson, Eric Burton of the Black Pumas, Peterson Brothers Band and Bevis M. Griffin.
