Once again, we are at a pivotal turning point in human consciousness. Eclipses have a way of speeding up and slowing down our perception of time. Our inner GPS systems get recalibrated to the accelerated frequencies streaming to planet Earth from the Pleiades and Sirius star systems. This New Moon is a time for new beginnings, as well as a completion of old karmic soul contracts. What may have taken lifetimes to complete in the past, is now over in the “blink of an eye”, as Edgar Cayce states; but if you can forgive yourself and others for past transgressions, you can expect an inner illumination to occur with these eclipses. At dawn on the Full Moon, my group will have private meditation time inside the Great Pyramid, but wherever you are on this eclipse, know that you are receiving a cellular upgrade. The key for activating the new Higher Heart DNA codes lies in your intention to evolve and your willingness to move past your fears. The sign of Scorpio deals with very core emotional issues revolving emotional security, money, control, intimacy, death, and ultimately, rebirth. This is powerful stuff! Over the past year, what you have been called on to release in your life? What has ended, died, or been transformed? Oftentimes the universe forces us out of a comfort zone; the cycle of beginnings and endings is the law of evolution. Look to where you have the signs of Scorpio and Ta**us in your natal chart and any planets in those signs. This is where you will feel the transformation occurring. If your birthday falls within 48 hours of this solar eclipse, this is a big year for you!
Trust issues often come up with Scorpio energy. How well do you trust yourself? Others? Scorpio rules the hidden side of life…what is behind the veil, taboo, secret and mysterious. Scorpio is known as the s*xy sign, but that translates as inner magnetism, which can attract or repel at will. We all have an inner Magician, Priestess, Shaman, Psychic Detective, Dark Goddess, and Psychologist indicated by the house where the sign of Scorpio falls in the birth chart. With awareness, these archetypes can be used constructively for personal healing and transformation. Scorpio is the only sign of the zodiac that has three levels: the Scorpion, the Eagle, and the Phoenix, denoting its inherent potential for total transformation. Like a snake shedding its old skin, Scorpio has the capacity to die to the old self/ego and be reborn. The positive side of Scorpio teaches compassion and forgiveness for ourselves and others; the right use of power, loyalty, and self-discipline. We learn that true intimacy is not based on control or possessiveness, but on the desire for oneness, compassion and truth. The shadow side of Scorpio is the abuse of power, secrecy, judgment, emotional repression, obsession, control, revenge and, manipulation. Recognizing and owning your shadow, rather than projecting it onto others, becomes a necessity if you have major Scorpio planets in your chart, especially the Moon (since the Moon rules the subconscious). Working with dreams, shamanic counseling, and other forms of psychotherapy, is all excellent ways of bringing the Shadow into awareness. Scorpio is the water sign also associated with our second chakra: creation and s*xuality. The parts of the body ruled by Scorpio are the s*x organs and the reproductive and elimination systems. Psychological and emotional blockages commonly show up as physical problems in these areas of the body. Yoga, martial arts, body work and massage, especially lymphatic massage, can be extremely helpful in moving blocked energy. Since Scorpio rules the deep waters of the subconscious, this Astrological counseling, past life regressions and rebirthing techniques, all assist in moving through the emotional fears that keep us stuck. New Moon is a great time to indulge in some quiet reflection on your own. During this New Moon, take some time out for yourself to reconnect with your spiritual source and write down your intentions for the remainder of this year. Watch your dreams for messages; begin a spiritual journal, meditate, and honor your self.
